Father Tom Moloney SM OAM died on Tuesday 6th July at St Joseph's Nursing Home, where he was a well loved resident for the past three years. He was 89. Before his retirement in 2006 Father Tom had been a Hospital Chaplain at St Vincent's, Lismore Base Hospital, St Joseph's Nursing Home and Ozanam Villa since 1989. Fr Tom is remembered with affection and gratitude by the numerous patients and staff he ministered to over the years. His funeral Mass was celebrated today at St Carthage's Cathedral by Bishop Geoffrey Jarrett and priests of the Diocese and his Marist Confreres. May he rest in peace.
