Father Peter Vandeleur, a priest of the Diocese of Cairns, died on Saturday 13th March 2010 at Cairns Base Hospital.

A Vigil was held at 7:30pm on Thursday 18th March at St Francis Xavier's Church, Cnr Mayers and Aitkinson Sts, Manunda, followed by a Solemn Funeral Requiem Mass at St Monica's Cathedral at 11am on Friday 19th March and interment in the Catholic priest's section of the Cairns Martyn Street Cemetery.
