Rev Father Patrick Martin Jones passed into eternal life on Thursday 18 February 2010 at Wesley Hospital, Brisbane.

Mass was celebrated at Mt Carmel, Coorparoo, Brisbane at 10am on Monday 22nd February. A Vigil will be held at 7pm on Friday 26th February at St Monica's Cathedral, Cairns.

All Relatives, parishioners and many friends of Fr Pat Jones are respectfully invited to attend a Solemen Funeral Requiem Mass at St Monica's Cathedral at 10am on Saturday 27th February. Following the Mass the internment will take place in the Catholic's priest's section of the Cairns Martyn Street Cemetery.
