In 1992 the Catholic Bishops of Australia established the Australian Council for Clergy Life and Ministry, a National Office, and Diocesan Directors to enhance the Ongoing Formation and Education of Clergy and to ensure their Ongoing Support and Care.

2nd December 2009.

Father Brian, aged 76, died of cancer today (2nd December) at St John of God Hospital in Subiaco.

Father Brian operated a crisis care centre in Perth for 37 years. His family thanked the people of Perth for their support over the years, particularly during his illness. His annual Christmas appeal would go ahead as a tribute.
